4月28日は僕の18歳の誕生日でした。まさか自分が誕生日を日本以外のところで迎えるとは思ってもいませんでした。
こっちで日付が変わるときを考えてメッセージをくれた友達がいて凄く感動しました。
そしてホストファミリーのニルズが手作りのケーキとプレゼントを用意してくれました。僕がカラオケが恋しいと言ったのを覚えていてくれてシャワールームでも使えるスピーカーをプレゼントしてくれました。
自分は本当に友人や周りの人に恵まれているなと改めて感じることができました。貴重な経験ができて嬉しいです。
On the 28th of April I had my 18th birthday. I never thought that I would celebrate my birthday outside of Japan.
I was very touched that my friend sent me a message thinking about when the date would change over here.
My host family, Nils, prepared a homemade cake and gifts for me. They remembered that I had mentioned that I missed karaoke and gave me a speaker that I could use in the shower.
I felt once again that I am truly blessed to have friends and people around me. I am glad I was able to have this valuable experience.
