先週の土曜日、マギーが仕事だったので、ホストマザーと一緒にドリゴの熱帯雨林に行きました。少し雨が降っていましたが、空気は澄んでいて気持ちよかったです。熱帯雨林では鳥が鳴いていてとてもかわいかったです。展望台では良い山の景色を見ることができました。お昼にカフェに立ち寄り、サンドイッチを食べました。私たちは美しい自然に囲まれていました。隣にお店がありました。野生生物についての短いムービーを見ることができました。熱帯雨林では野生動物を見ることはできませんでしたが、あの映画は短いムービーで野生動物を見ることができて面白かったです。その後、滝へ行きました。音がとても大きくて迫力がありました。私はすっかりそこを気に入ってしまいました。
先週の日曜日、私はマギーとホストマザーと一緒に誕生日ケーキを焼きました。この日までケーキを焼いたことがなかったのでとても嬉しかったです。私はチョコレートが好きなので、誕生日ケーキはチョコレートケーキを作ることにしました。土曜日の帰り道、スーパーに立ち寄りました。私は食料品店に行くのが好きです。パッケージや大きさ、形も日本のものとは違うので見ていてとても面白いです。マギーと一緒にケーキ作りをするのは楽しかったし、ホストマザーがわかりやすく教えてくれてました。焼き上がったケーキにアイシングをかけて仕上げました。綺麗に出来てよかったです。
先週の月曜日、4月8日は私の誕生日でした。朝学校に着くとすぐにリオが「お誕生日おめでとう」と言ってくれて、ひなのさんから誕生日プレゼントをもらいました。嬉しかったです。学校が終わった後、私はマギーとひなのさんとホストマザーと一緒にコフスハーバーのビーチに夕食を食べに行きました。そして、ホストマザーから誕生日プレゼントをもらいました。どれも可愛くて嬉しかったです。マギーは日本語で「おたんじょうおめでとう」と書いてくれました。これが一番嬉しいプレゼントでした。その後、誕生日ケーキを食べました。とても美味しかったです！日本からもたくさんのお祝いのメッセージをいただきました。私の誕生日を祝ってくれたすべての人に感謝しています。素晴らしい誕生日をありがとうございました！
Last Saturday, I went to a Rain Forest, in Dorrigo with my host mother because Maggie was working. It was raining a little, but the air was crisp and clear. In the Rain Forest, some birds were singing, and it was so cute. I was able to see good mountain views at the observation deck. We stopped by the café at lunch, I ate sandwiches. We were surrounded by beautiful nature. There was a store next door. We were able to watch a short movie about wild creatures. I wasn’t able to see wild animals in the Rain Forest, but that movie was interesting to see wild creatures in a short movie. After that, we went to the waterfall. The sound was very loud, and it was powerful. I fell in love with it.
Last Sunday, I baked my birthday cake with Maggie and my host mother. I was very happy because I had never baked a cake until this day. I like chocolate, so I decided to make a chocolate cake for the birthday cake. On the way home on Saturday, we stopped by the supermarket. I like to go grocery store. It’s very interesting to watch because the packaging, size, and shape of the product are different from Japanese products. Making a cake with Maggie was fun, and my host mother taught me in an easy-to-understand way. I finished the baked cake with icing. I’m glad I made it beautifully.
Last Monday 8th of April was my birthday. As soon as I arrived at school in the morning, I was happy that Leo said, “Happy birthday” and Hinano gave me a birthday present. After school, I went to the beach of Coffs Harbor to eat dinner with Maggie, Hinano, and my host mother. Then, my host mother gave me birthday presents. It made me happy that everything was cute. Maggie wrote me Happy Birthday in Japanese. This was the happiest present. Afterward, we ate birthday cake. It was so delicious! I got many congratulatory messages from Japan. I’m grateful to all the people who celebrated my birthday. Thank you for a wonderful birthday!
