学校：Bishop Druitt College（オーストラリア）
期間：２月９日～４月２４日

留学してから3週間と3日が経ちました。先生や生徒たちが挨拶してくれ、毎朝学校に行くのがとても楽しみです。毎朝、40分のバスに乗って通学しています。バスでは、隣に座っている生徒が英語でおしゃべりしています。勇気を出して彼らと会話してみたいと思います。
先週の火曜日、夕食にはホストファミリーの母が日本のカレーとご飯を作ってくれました。彼女が作る料理はどれも美味しくて大好きです。彼女が私のために日本料理を作ってくれて感謝しています。また、彼女が作るおにぎりが私のお気に入りのランチです。
先週の金曜日の夕方、ホストファミリーと一緒にフライデーマーケットに行き、夕食をとりました。そこでは様々な国の料理が売られていて、選ぶのが難しかったですが、最終的にホストファミリーがおすすめしてくれた料理を食べました。とても美味しかったです。
先週の土曜日の午後、カリスとホストマザーと一緒にビッグバナナファンパークに行きました。偶然にも他の留学生の友達とホストシスターに会いました。4年ぶりにウォータースライダーに乗りましたが、とても面白かったです。十分に遊んだ後、お土産屋さんでタオル、ステッカー、ぬいぐるみを買いました。ホストファミリーが私を連れて行ってくれてとても幸せでした。

先週の日曜日の朝、Carysとホストマザーと一緒にモーニングマーケットに行きました。アクセサリーや手作り雑貨、食べ物が売られていました。多くの人が訪れ、日本人もいました。オーストラリアのマーケットがとても気に入りました。

Three weeks and three days have passed since I came to study abroad. Some teachers and students greet me whenever I see them. I’m always so excited when I go to school every morning. I ride a bus for forty minutes to school every morning. While on the bus, there is a student sitting beside me chatting in English. I would like to challenge myself to talk to them with courage.
Last Tuesday, for dinner, my host mother made Japanese curry and rice for us. All of the dishes made by her are delicious and I love them. I’m grateful to her for making Japanese dishes for me to eat. Also, my favourite lunch is rice balls made by her.
Last Friday evening, I went to the Friday market to have dinner with my host family. Many people were selling foods from various countries there. They all looked so delicious, so choosing my dinner was very difficult. I ended up eating food that my host family recommended. It was very delicious.
Last Saturday afternoon, I went to The Big Banana Fun Park with Carys and my host mother. Coincidentally, I ran into my other exchange student friend and her host sister. I hadn’t been to a waterslide in four years until last Saturday. It was very interesting. After playing enough, I bought a towel, a sticker, and a stuffed toy at the souvenir shop. I was very happy my host family took me there.
Last Sunday morning, I went to the morning market with Carys and my host mother. There were accessories, handmade miscellaneous goods, and food being sold. A lot of people came and there were some Japanese people there too. I liked the Australian market very much.
