学校: Bishop Druitt College (オーストラリア)

期間:2月9日〜4月24日　5月8日〜6月22日

学校が始まって数日経ちました。以前参加したCCGSでの短期留学の時は違い、年の近い人達と授業を受けるのは新鮮な感覚です。お昼の時間に一緒にお昼ご飯を食べている子達に私はどら焼きをあげて、友達はチョコレートをあげました。また、2月14日には「ASH WEDNESDAY」という日がありました。キリスト教に関係している日で、多くの生徒たちが集まり、灰を受けていました。生徒達は印を断ることもできて、灰を受けている生徒は少なかったです。BDCはキリスト教の学校ですが、断ることができることが日本とは違う所だなと思いました。

It’s been a few days since school started. Just as I imagined, it is different between Japanese school and Australian school. It is different from studying abroad which I studied in CCGS(Central Coast Grammar School) and I feel fresh because I take lessons with students who are similar age. In lunch, I  gave Dorayaki and my friend gave chocolate to students who are eating together. Also, on February 14th, we had 「ASH WEDNESDAY」 which involved with Christianity and many students were gathering and they received “ASH”. Students can refuse and there are a few students who received ash. BDC is Christian school but they can refuse it. This is different to Japan.
