学校：Bishop Druitt College（オ―ストラリア）
期間：令和５年１１月１８日～令和６年１月１８日

留学も残りわずかとなってきました。

1月1日はお正月でしたが特別なことはせずみんなでボードゲームをしました。自分の誕生日やクリスマス、年越しなど一年の中で大きなイベントの多くを海外で過ごして日本との違いも感じることができて、とても良い経験になりました。

水曜日、木曜日、金曜日はサーフィンレッスンを受けました。水曜日のレッスンが人生で初めてのサーフィンでしたが、コーチの方々が優しくてコツを教えてくれたり、サポートしてくださったのでサーフボードに立つことができました。２日目の木曜日は波が高かったので少し怖かったです。最終日の金曜日は３日間の中で1番波が低くてやりやすかったです。３日間2時間以上ビーチにいたので初めて皮が剥けるほど日焼けしました。ですがずっとサーフィンをしてみたかったのでできて嬉しかったです。

また、家では卓球やバスケをしたりテレビゲームをしたりしています。残り2週間もないので悔いの残らないように過ごしたいです。

There are only a few days left for my study abroad.

On January 1st, we didn’t do anything special for New Year’s, but instead, we played board games together. It was a great experience for me to spend many of the major events of the year abroad, such as my birthday, Christmas, and New Year’s, and to experience the differences between Japanese and other countries.

On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, I took surfing lessons. Wednesday’s lesson was my first time ever trying surfing, but the coaches were kind and taught me the techniques, so I was able to stand on the surfboard.

On the second day, Thursday, the waves were high, so I was a bit scared.

On the last day, Friday, the waves were the lowest out of the three days, making it easier to surf. I spent more than two hours on the beach for three days, so I got sunburned that my skin peeled off for the first time. However, I was happy because I had always wanted to try surfing.

At home, I played table tennis, basketball, and video games. With only two weeks left, I want to make the most of my time and have no regrets.
