活動報告

木曜日にはビーチに行ってボディボードをしました。2回目のボディボードだったけど前より上手く波に乗れたので嬉しかったです。これからサーフィンもあるので楽しみです。またその日はとても日差しが強かったので日焼け止めを塗っていたにも関わらず日に焼けてしまいました。  
金曜日は学校でバディだったリリーと一緒に遊びに行きました。ショッピングモールで一緒にショッピングをしたりお昼を食べたりした後、家に帰って一緒にクッキーを作りました。 オーストラリアに来て女の子とショッピングをするタイミングがなかったので、一緒にできて嬉しかったです。
土曜日の夕方はjettyビーチに行ってアイスを食べたり、クリスマスのイベントに行ったりしました。1ヶ月限定で遊べる遊園地のようなところでゲームをしたりしました。途中で雷と雨がすごくて帰りました。少しの時間だったけど雰囲気だけでも十分楽しめました。
そして日曜日はニューイヤーイブでした。 日本にいるよりニューイヤー感は感じられなかったですが、ケーキを食べたり映画を見たりしてホストファミリーとの時間を楽しめたので良かったです。

On the 25th of Christmas, we had waffles for breakfast and cake for dinner.
We had a lot of fun opening and exchanging Christmas presents.
On Thursday, we went to the beach and did bodyboarding. It was my second time, but I was able to ride the waves better than before, so I was happy. I’m looking forward to surfing. Also, it was very sunny that day, so despite putting on sunscreen, I still got sunburned.
On Friday, I went to play with Lily, who was my buddy at school. We went shopping together at the mall and had lunch, then we went to back to my host family’s house and made biscuit together. I was happy to be able to shop with a girl because I hadn’t had the chance to do that since coming to Australia.
On Saturday evening, we went to Jetty Beach and ate ice cream, and we also went to a Christmas event. There was a temporary amusement park where we played games. We have to leave because there was a lot of thunder and rain, but even with the short amount of time, I still enjoyed the atmosphere.
And then Sunday was New Year’s Eve. I didn’t feel as much of a New Year’s vibe as I would in Japan, but I enjoyed my time with my host family by eating cake and watching movies.
