活動報告

水曜日、木曜日の2日間でホストファミリーと一緒にニューイングランドナショナルパークというところにキャンプに行きました。僕は日本でもキャンプによく行きますが、日本でのキャンプとは少し違いました。日本ではテントを使いますがキャンプトレーラーとスワッグという大きな寝袋のような物で寝ました。僕とディグビーはスワッグで寝て、それ以外のみんなはキャンプトレーラーで寝ました。今オーストラリアは秋で、普段住んでるヴァラという地域は夜16℃くらいですが山の上は8℃くらいでした。着いてから最初にブッシュウォーキングをしました。展望台からたくさんの地域を見ることができてとても良い景色でした。夜はマシュマロを焚き火で炙って食べました。この文化は日本もオーストラリアも同じでした。ディグビーと焚き火をしながら2時間くらい話しました。最近は以前に比べて、会話も言いたいことがすぐに英語で言えたり発音も良くなってきた気がします。とても良い時間を過ごしました。星がとても綺麗でした。夜は少し雨が降りました。来週からは学校が始まります。楽しみです。

This week I went camping in New England national park with my host family. I sometimes go camping in Japan but it was different. I always use a tent but they used a camping trailer and swags. A swag is like a big waterproof sleeping bag with a mattress. It was comfortable. Digby and I slept in the swags, and the other people slept in the trailer. Australia is in autumn now. Valla’s lowest temperature is about 16℃ in the night but in the mountains it was 8℃. First we did bush walking. We looked at beautiful views. We ate toasted marshmallows, just like in Japan. Digby and I talked for around 2 hours by the fire. Recently, what I want to say comes to my mind quickly compared to before. We had good time. The stars are so beautiful in Australia. It was a little rainy in the night. School will start next week. I’m looking forward to it.
