学校：Central Coast Grammar School（オーストラリア）

期間：２月１８日～５月１４日

この一週間で1番好きになった単語はfermentationです。ホストファミリーがトマトのことを話していてそのとき気になったので意味を聞いてました。decay と少し似てるけど発酵という意味なので少し違いました。似ていても少し意味が違う英単語が沢山あるのでとてもややこしいです。少しずつ倒していきたいです。また月曜日からホストファミリーが変わりました。これで最後のホストファミリーの交代になるので時間が過ぎるのが早いなと感じました。新しいホストファミリーと一緒に住んでるところとは少し離れたport macquarieという場所に四日間行きました。ゴルフや迷路，動物園などに行きました。またコアラ病院という場所に行きました。コアラ病院は普通の動物園とは違い怪我をしているコアラ達がいるところでした。木から落ちてしまったり、車に轢かれてしまったりしたコアラたちがいました。しかし今はみんな元気そうでとても可愛かったです。コアラが怠惰に見える理由はユーカリの葉が眠たくさせていたり、コアラはユーカリの木に住んでいますがお気に入りの木があることを知りました。もうすぐイースターホリデーが終わって学校が始まります。あと学校に行けるのも2週間くらいしかないので、悔いのないように楽しんでいきたいです。

My favorite English word which I learned from last week is fermentation. My host family was talking about tomatoes and this word was used in that conversation. I was wondering what it means so I asked my host mother. I thought it was like decay but it was kinda different from it. It makes me really confused. I want to learn them step by step. From Monday,  I’m staying with  new host family . This is my last host family so I felt time flies so fast. Also I went to port Macquarie for 4 days. I did many activities, such as golf, going to a maze and going to the zoo. I also went to koala hospital. It was different from a normal zoo, all the koalas had something happen to them; fell from a tree or got  hit by car. But now they look fine and they were so cute. I learned 2 things about koalas. One thing is why koalas are lazy , eucalypt makes them sleepy so they look lazy. Another thing is they live in eucalypt trees, but they have a favorite tree. I’m so glad that I could know more about koalas ! Easter holiday is almost ended, school is coming soon. I can only go to school for like 2 weeks more. Without any regrets I want to have a fun!
