学校：Central Coast Grammar School（オーストラリア）

この一週間で1番印象に残っている英単語はreckon です。ホストファミリーがI reckon ~ と使っていて意味を聞いてみたらそれはI think のように使うよと教えてもらいました。新しい単語に触れる事が楽しいです。木曜日にシドニーのイースターショーにホストファミリーと一緒に行ってきました。イースターショーでは観覧車などの乗り物があったり，食べ物の屋台，パレード，動物園がありました。動物園ではオーストラリアの珍しい動物たちが沢山いました。日本の動物園では見たことのない鳥，馬，羊がいました。見た目がとても美しかったです。また、二つのショーを見ました。一つ目は男の人たちが木を切り1番早い人が勝つというものでした。見ていてすごく迫力があり，ハラハラしました。二つ目は馬のショーでした。色々な障害物を乗り越えとても綺麗でした。なかなか日本で見られる機会がないのでとても印象に残りました。連れていってくれたホストファミリーに感謝したいです。留学も残り1ヶ月を切りました。もうすぐ新しいホストファミリーのお家に行きます。別れは辛いですが出会いも素敵です。この残りの1ヶ月でもっと新しい単語に出会って使っていきたいです。また学校生活でも積極的に先生や友達に話かけたいと思います。まず1番に楽しんできます！

An English word that it is really in my mind through this week is reckon.  My host family used “ reckon “ often so I asked them, then she taught me I can use it as “think “. I’m so happy every time I learn new English words. On Thursday I went to Easter show with my host family. They had mini amusement park, food and parade, mini zoo. In the zoo section I saw a lot of unique animals like birds, horse and sheep. They looked so beautiful. I also watched two shows. First show was the wood chopping competition. Men were cutting tree and the first person who can cut first wins. It looked so hard on that, I’m impressed. Second show was horse riding. They were jumping over obstacle that was so beautiful. My study abroad is only for a month more. Soon I will go to next host family. I’m so excited but it is sad to say good bye.  However, I am sure meeting new people will be amazing. I want to learn more English words and use them. At school I will talk to teachers and my friends more actively! And I will have fun!
