土曜日にシドニーに行きました。セント•メアリー大聖堂を見ました。とても神秘的でした、また夜に友達のホストファミリーのお誕生日パーディーに参加しました。日本と比べて、大規模で誕生日パーティーを開いていて、とても素敵だなと思いました。パーティーではみんながドレスを着ていて、ビューティーコンテストを開催しました。それぞれの人が自分の得意なことを発表して、色々な質問に答えて自分を表現していました。また、ひとりの人にカラフルな袋などを使ってグループごとにドレスを作りました。とても楽しかったです。最後にみんなでカラオケ大会をしました。最初はなかなか恥ずかしくはしゃぐことはできませんでしたが、最後にはみんなと一緒にダンスを踊ってとても仲良くなれたので、楽しかったです。
On Saturday I went to Sydney with my host family , and I saw St. Mary’s cathedral. It was mysterious and beautiful. I also went to a birthday party. Compared to Japan, the birthday party was much larger. I was so impressed. Everyone was dressed up, and they held a beauty contest. They each showed their talent to people and answered funny questions. After that we created nice dresses with colorful plastic bags. It was so much fun. In the end we did karaoke! I was so shy at first but I had a really fun time dancing with them.
