活動報告

学校: Central Coast Grammar School(オーストラリア)

期間: 2月18日〜5月14日

後少しでオーストラリアに来てから1ヶ月が経とうとしています。
この一週間はたくさんの出来事がありました。
短期留学の人が来て、短期留学の人達と一緒に様々な場所に行き、たくさんの経験をしました。
金曜日に、レプタイルパークとチョコレートファクトリーに行きました。
チョコレートファクトリーではチョコレートを作る体験をさせていただきました。
自分で好きな具材を選び、デコレーションをしました。この経験は今までしたことがなかったのでとても楽しかったです。作ったチョコをホストファミリーと一緒に食べ、美味しいとみんなに喜んでもらい、作って良かったなと思いました。
レプタイルパークでは動物と触れ合ったり、パーク内を見学させていただきました。
レプタイルパークに行くことは留学前から楽しみにしていたので、行けてとても嬉しかったです。
初めて、トカゲを持たせてもらい、言葉には表せない程の喜びと感動でした。また、コアラや、蛇にも触らしてもらい、とても良い経験になりました。
土曜日に友達の家に行きました。プールや大きい庭、またキャンプファイヤーができるような場所がありました。プールで泳いだり、マシュマロを焼いて食べたり、みんなでかくれんぼをしたりしました。大自然の中で、蚊にたくさん刺されましたが、とても良い思い出になりました。
また、火曜日には乗馬体験をしました。自分で馬に指示を出したりするのは、初めは難しく、少し怖いと思っていましたが、段々と慣れてきて、とても楽しい乗馬体験になりました。
このように、たくさん初めての経験がたくさんあった一週間だったなと思います。
本当に時間があっという間に過ぎていくので、ひとつひとつ目に焼き付けながら過ごしていきたいです。

It’s almost been a month since I came to Australia.
 A lot happened this week.
 Short-term exchange students came and we went to various places and had a lot of experiences.
 On Friday, we went to Reptile Park and the Chocolate Factory.
 At the chocolate factory, we had the experience of making chocolate.
 I chose my favorite ingredients and decorated them.  I had never done this before and it was a lot of fun.  I ate this chocolate  with my family, and I was  happy because they said to me it was delicious.
 At the reptile park, I interacted with animals and toured the park.
 I had been looking forward to going to Reptile Park since before studying abroad, so I was very happy to be able to go.
 First, when I hold  the lizard, I was overjoyed and moved beyond words.  I also got to touch koalas and snakes, which was a great experience.
I went to my friend’s house on Saturday.
There was a pool, a large garden, and a place where you could have a campfire.  We swam in the pool, roasted and ate marshmallows, and played hide-and-seek together.  I was bitten by a lot of mosquitoes, but it was a very good memory.
Also, on Tuesday, I had a horseback riding experience.  At first I thought it was difficult and a little scary to give instructions to the horse myself, but I gradually got used to it and it turned out to be a very enjoyable riding experience.
 In this way, I think it was a week with many first experiences.
 It will go by in a flash, so I would like to spend my time burning it into my eyes one by one.
