This week, I have been staying with Ben’s family. They were my host family when I came to Australia last time.
Every day, Ben, his younger brother, James who lives next door, and I play video games, watch movies, play basketball, and play board games together. We have so much fun every day.
On Thursday, we left home early in the morning and walked to a cafe near a lake together. We walked about 10 kilometers in total, so it was quite tiring. However, the morning view of the lake and the peaceful atmosphere of the town were beautiful, so it was definitely worth it. At the cafe, I had a mocha and pancakes. It was nice to relax and spend quality time with the family.
On Friday, we went to see the new Minions movie. The movie theater was very different from what I had imagined. It only had about 20 seats, and each seat was very comfortable. The seats even moved with the action in the movie, which made it much more exciting. It was my first time experiencing a theater like that, and I really enjoyed it.
On the weekend, we went to the family’s farm and stayed there in a campervan. It was surrounded by beautiful nature, and I was surprised to see so many kangaroos, cows, and sheep. I was happy to have such a special experience.
Now it is the winter holiday, so I don’t have school. Every day, we go to different places and spend time together, so I’m enjoying my holiday very much and making lots of great memories.
今週から自分が前回留学に来た時のホストファミリーだったベンの家に滞在しています。
毎日ベンとベンの弟と隣の家に住んでいるジェームズとゲームをしたり映画を見たりバスケットボールをしたりボードゲームをしたりしてほんとうに楽しんでいます。
木曜日は朝早くに家を出て家族で湖の近くにあるカフェに歩いて行きました。往復で約10キロを歩いたのでとても大変でしたが朝の湖だったり町の雰囲気がとても素敵だったのでとても良い時間を過ごせました。カフェではモカとパンケーキを食べました。家族でゆっくり過ごすことができてよかったです。
金曜日はミニオンの映画を見に行きました。
自分が想像していた映画館とは違って席が20個くらいしかなく一個一個がとても豪華で映画の動きに合わせて席が揺れる仕組みになっていました。初めて体験したのでとても楽しむことができました。
土日は家族が持っているファームに行き、キャンピングカーを持って行ってそこで泊まりました。ほんとうに自然豊かでとても良い場所でした。カンガルーや牛や羊が大量にいて驚きました。初めての経験をすることができてよかったです。
今は冬休み中で学校がないので一緒にいろんな場所に行ったり遊んだりしてとても毎日が充実しています。
