From Thursday to Sunday this week, I stayed in Brisbane, where my uncle’s family lives.

First of all, I went to my uncle’s house in Brisbane and was treated to homemade miso soup and curry. It was really delicious.
The next day, I left home in the morning and went to visit the campus of the University of Queensland and the dormitory where people from various countries gather. Brisbane has a bus-only road, so it was very convenient for buses. The University of Queensland is rich in nature and has a really large site, and I really thought it was the perfect university for me. I was very grateful to have the University of Queensland staff guide me through the classroom of the course I wanted to go to. I thought the dormitory was the best place to make a lot of friends because there were events every month. My desire to study there has grown stronger and increased.
On the way back, I took the ferry to the city and ate udon. The person who worked there was Japanese, so we talked to him. In the evening, I had a meal at a Japanese restaurant with my uncle’s family and his acquaintances. I had a good time at a very good restaurant. After that, I had a very good time sightseeing in the city of Brisbane and buying a lot of Japanese souvenirs. I can only thank my uncle and his family for giving me this opportunity.

今週の木曜日〜日曜日は、自分の叔父の家族が住んでいるブリスベンに滞在しました。
まずブリスベンについて叔父の家に行き、手作りの味噌汁やカレーをご馳走してもらいました。本当に美味しかったです。
次の日は朝から家を出て、クイーンズランド大学のキャンパスとインターナショナルハウスという色んな国の人が集まる寮の見学に行きました。ブリスベンはバス専用道路があったりしてバスがとても便利でした。クイーンズランド大学は自然豊かで本当に敷地が広くて、自分にぴったりな大学だなととても思いました。クイーンズランド大学の職員の方に自分の行きたいコースの教室案内などをしてもらい、とてもありがたかったです。寮は毎月イベントがあったりしてたくさんの友達を作るにはベストな場所だなと思いました。自分はここに行きたいという気持ちがとても強くなり、勉強のモチベがあがりました。
帰りはフェリーで街の方に行き、うどんを食べました。働いている方が日本人だったのでお話もしました。夜は叔父の家族とその知り合いと日本食のレストランで食事をとりました。とても良いレストランで良い時間を過ごせました。それ以降はブリスベンの街を観光したり日本食のお土産をたくさん買ったりしてとても楽しい時間を過ごせました。このような機会を頂けたことに感謝しかないです。
