Day 68 :Sunday
I went to the movies with Hope and Gwyneth to see The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Unlike watching movies at home, this was my first time seeing it in a theater with no English subtitles, so I was worried about whether I’d understand it. But I understood everything! It might be because it’s a movie for kids, but I was still so happy that I could follow it. Since it hasn’t been released in Japan yet, I felt lucky to see it early.
Day 69 :Monday
We spent the morning working on a puzzle and felt so happy when we finished it! In the afternoon, we visited Hope’s cousin’s house, which is a lovely place by the sea. I played a game like “Torikago” with Hope’s cousins and sisters. There was a bit of a problem when Airlie accidentally hit me with the ball in an “unfortunate spot.” It hurt, but now it’s a funny memory.
Day 70 :Tuesday
Everyone assemble at Hope’s house for a party today. We played at the park and in the backyard. I’ll see some of them at the airport, but for others, I won’t see them again until they visit Japan in a few months. It’s so hard knowing the end is getting closer. For our last dinner, my host family let me choose my favorite food, so we had hamburgers. It was delicious.
Day 71 Wednesday
The final day. My host family told me we should do whatever I wanted, so I chose for us to just relax together as a family. We went kayaking on the lake right in front of the house and shared our favorite memories. I wanted to say byebye to everyone at the airport, but because of everyone’s schedules, I had to say byebye to each person one by one. This was incredibly painful.
The first was Viera. She always talked to me whenever I looked bored and watched movies with me. I tried to stay strong and not cry, but I couldn’t hold back the tears after she left. Next was my host father. He was always so funny with his jokes. When it was time to say byebye, I cried my heart out in his arms. I’m so grateful for everything he did.
Then came Gwyneth. She always invited me to play games or jump on the trampoline and made sure I was having fun. When it was time for me to leave, she started crying , which made me burst into tears too. After that was Airlie. She was always so busy with sports and work, yet she still made time for me every day. I was crying again.
Finally, it was my host mother and Hope. Even when she was tired, my host mother took such good care of me every day. I’m going to miss her cooking so much. Hope helped me so much at school and was with me every time we went out. I cried so hard that I soaked Hope’s shoulder with my tears. I’m so sorry.
These 70 days have been truly amazing. I feel like my English has very improved. I can’t wait to come back again someday.

68日目(日曜日)
今日はホープとグイネスと一緒に映画を見に行きました。マリオの映画を見ました。今まで家で見ていた時と違い初めてだし、英語字幕もないし理解できるか不安でした。でも全て理解できました。マリオは子供向けだからかもしれませんがだとしても理解できたことが嬉しかったです。この映画は日本ではまだ上映されていない映画なので早く見れて嬉しかったです。
69日目(月曜日)
昼間はみんなでパズルをしました。
頑張って完成させました。嬉しかったです。
午後はホープのいとこの家に行きました。海沿いにある素敵なお家です。
ホープのいとことホープの姉妹と一緒にトリカゴみたいなのをしました。楽しかったです。
エアリーが僕の大事な部分にボールをあてるというハプニングもありました。痛かったけどいい思い出になりました。
70日目(火曜日)
今日はみんなでホープの家に集まってパーティをしました。
公園に行って遊んだり、庭で遊んだりしました。
空港で会える人もいるけど、他は数ヶ月後の日本です。悲しいです
最後がどんどん近づいてきていて本当に辛いです。
夜は最後の晩御飯でした。
ホストファミリーが僕の好きな物を食べようと言ってくれたのでハンバーガーを食べました。
最後の晩御飯、美味しかったです。
71日目(水曜日)
最後です。
今日はホストファミリーが僕の好きなことをしようと言ってくれて僕の好きな事をしました。僕が選んだ事は1日家族みんなでのんびりすることです。
家のすぐ目の前にある湖でカヤックをしたり思い出話をしたりしました。
本当はみんなで空港でバイバイをしたかったけどみんなの予定が会わず1人ずつのお別れでした。これが本当に辛かったです。
最初のお別れはヴィエラでした。
ヴィエラは僕が暇そうにしているといつも話しかけて来てくれて映画を一緒に見たりしました。
涙は漢泣きにしようとしたけど我慢できずヴィエラが去った後たくさん泣きました。
2人目はお父さんです。
いつもジョークを言っていて面白かったです。
別れ際、お父さんの胸の中でたくさん泣きました。
お世話になりました。
3人目はグイネスです。
いつもゲームに誘ってきたりトランポリンに誘ってきたりたくさん僕を楽しませてくれました。
僕が家を離れる時間になった時にグイネスが大泣き始めて僕もそれに合わせて大泣きしちゃいました。
4人目はエアリーです。
エアリーはスポーツも忙しいしバイトも忙しいし毎日大変そうでした。なのに終わったあといつも俺に構ってくれて嬉しかったです。ここでもまたべちょべちょに泣いてしまいました。
最後はお母さんとホープです。
お母さんは疲れているのにも関わらず毎日僕のことをたくさん気にかけてくれて本当に嬉しかったです。
お母さんご飯を食べれないとなると悲しいです。
ホープは学校でもお世話になったし、遊びに行く時もずっと一緒で本当にお世話になりました。別れ際、泣きすぎでホープの肩をビチョビチョにしてしまいました。ごめんなさい
この七十日間本当に楽しかったです。
英語力も大きく向上したと思います。
また行きたいです。
