Day 34
I went to the reptile park with the short-term exchange students. It was my second time going there, but unlike last time, I was able to touch lizards and snakes. It was my first time touching such big lizards and snakes, and honestly, they felt a bit weird. Haha. The snake felt kind of like a robot, which was strange. I was really happy because it was a rare experience that I don’t usually get to have.

Day 35
I went to a Year 9 Japanese class. My friends Ben and Brandon are in that class. They are both very kind and easy to talk to. Also, I heard that my next host family will be Ben’s family, so I’m really looking forward to it.

Day 36
It was the last day for the short-term exchange students, so we had a party in the Japanese class. I talked with many people there. I heard a lot of things I didn’t know, which made it really fun.

Day 37
I went to watch the Central Coast Mariners vs Adelaide United game with Mikuru, Hana, and Hana’s dad. It had been a long time since I last watched a soccer match. The game was very exciting. A little after the second half started, the Mariners scored the first goal. The crowd’s reaction when they scored was amazing. After that, United scored and the game ended in a 1–1 draw. After the match, I went to talk to a Japanese player on the Mariners. He said he came to Australia this January. Since there is no interpreter, he has to learn everything himself, from basic conversations to technical soccer terms. Even so, he communicated well with other players and coaches during and after the game, which I thought was really impressive.

Day 38
I went to Terrigal Beach with my host father. We had drinks and walked around different parts of the beach while enjoying the view. The view from the hill was very beautiful. While walking along the beach, I ran into my friends Fox and Tiarna’n. We were all surprised. After that, I went home and watched an F1 race. It was very exciting.

Day 39
I went to my PE class and played volleyball. By communicating well with my teammates, we were able to keep rallies going and score points. After going home, I watched The Greatest Showman on Netflix. It was really enjoyable.

Day 40
I went to Terrigal Beach one last time. The sky was a bit cloudy, but the beach was still very beautiful. I went up a hill near the beach with my host father. On the way, I saw a wild rabbit.
It was my first time seeing one. A dog was chasing the rabbit, which was funny.

34 日目
短期留学の人達と一緒にレプタルパークに行きました。レプタルパークに行くのは 2 回目だったけれど前回行った時とは違ってトカゲや蛇に触ることができました。でっかいトカゲや蛇に触るのは初めてで、少し触り心地が気持ち悪かったです。笑。蛇はロボットみたいな感じで変な感じでした。普段できない貴重な体験ができたのでとても嬉しかったです。

35 日目
9 年生の日本語の授業に行きました。9 年生の授業には友達のベンとブランドンがいます。彼らはとても優しくてとても話しやすいです。さらに次のホストファミリーはベンの家らしいので今からとても楽しみです。

36 日目
短期留学の人たちが最後の日だったので日本語の授業でパーティーをしました。そこでいろいろな人と話しました。自分の知らない話がたくさん出てきてとても楽しかったです。

37 日目
セントラルコースト・マリナーズ vs アデレード・ユナイテッドの試合にみくる、ハナ、そしてハナのお父さんと観に行きました。サッカーの試合はすごく久しぶりに観に行きました。試合はすごく面白かったです。後半が始まってから少ししてマリナーズが先制しました。点を入れた時の歓声がとてもすごかったです。その後にユナイテッドに点を決められてしまい試合は 1−1 で終わってしまいました。試合の後にマリナーズに日本人選手がいたので話に行きました。その選手は今年の一月にオーストラリアに来たそうです。通訳がいないので自分で基本的な会話から専門的なサッカー用語まで自分でなばなければいけないと言っていました。それでもその選手は試合中や試合後でも他の選手やコーチ達としっかりコミュニケーションをしていたのでとてもすごいなと思いました。

38 日目
ホストファザーとテリガルビーチに行きました。そこで飲み物を飲みながらビーチのいろいろなところに行き景色を見ました。丘の上から見る景色はとても綺麗でした。ビーチを歩いている途中に友達のフォックスとティアヌンに会いました。お互いにびっくりしました。その後は家に帰って f1 のレースを見ました。とても面白かったです。

39 日目
体育の授業に行きました。バレーボールをやりました。みんなでコミュニケーションをとることでラリーをうまく続けて点を取ることができました。家に帰ってネットフリックスでグレイテストショーマンを見ました。とても面白かったです。

40 日目
最後にテリガルビーチに行きました。空が少し曇っていたけれどビーチはとても綺麗でした。ホストファザーとビーチにある丘の上に行きました。行く途中に野生のウサギがいました。野生のウサギを見るのは初めてでした。犬がウサギを追いかけていておもしろかったです。
