【オーストラリアBDC留学ウィークリーレポート④】髙野咲桜さん

This weekend, I went to the library in Coffs Harbour with two school friends and Zoa to study. They will have many tests in two weeks. They also have a camp next week, so they are very busy.
Zoa drove us to the library. It was the first time I saw her driving. I heard before that she could drive, but it was a little strange to see a high school student the same age as me driving. Her driving was very careful, and I felt safe. I thought she was very cool.
I learned that even people of the same age can have different experiences in different countries.
At the library, I studied math with Ellie, Alex, and Zoa. The library in Coffs Harbour is very big. There are many books and many places to study. I like this library very much.
They solved the problems while sharing their ideas. I thought studying with friends and talking together is a good way to learn. It was a good experience for me. I want to learn from them. I had a very good time.
今週末は、学校の友達二人とゾアと一緒にコフスハーバーの図書館へ勉強をしに行きました。二週間後にたくさんの教科のテストがあるそうです。来週はキャンプもあるため、とても忙しい時期です。
図書館まではゾアが運転してくれました。彼女が運転しているところを見るのは初めてでした。前に、運転すると聞いたことはありましたが、あらためて同い年の高校生が運転している姿を見ると、なんだか不思議な気持ちになりました。彼女の運転はとても丁寧で、乗り心地がよかったです。とてもかっこいいと思いました。
国が違うと、同い年でもこのような違いがあるのだと実感することができました。
図書館に着いてからは、エリー、アレックス、ゾアと一緒に数学の勉強をしました。コフスハーバーの図書館はとても大きく、本もたくさんあり、集中して勉強できる場所が多く用意されています。私はこの図書館がとても好きです。
彼女たちは自分たちの意見を出し合いながら問題を解いていました。その姿を見て、友達と積極的に楽しく学ぶことで学力の向上に繋がるんだと感じました。私にとってもとても良い勉強になりました。彼女たちの姿勢を見習いたいと思います。とても楽しい時間でした。
