【オーストラリアCCGS留学ウィークリーレポート①】平林未来琉さん

Day 1: Wednesday
I arrived at Sydney Airport and met the teachers from CCGS. We took a bus to the school, where I finally met my host sister, Sofia. She gave me a tour of the school and taught me some funny jokes and Australian slang. After going home, Sofia and I went for a walk at the nearby Umina Beach. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and I was very moved. For dinner, we had fish and chips, and it was delicious!
Day 2: Thursday
My classes at school finally started. Since everything is in English, I had a hard time understanding at times, but Sofia helped me a lot. After school, I went swimming in the ocean with Sofia’s older brother, Hugo. While we were swimming, we talked about our favorite games, music, and hobbies. The water felt amazing and very refreshing.
Day 3: Friday
I took a ballet class, but it was quite difficult for me. After that, I participated in a Japanese class. I had a great time playing games and eating “Lamingtons,” a traditional Australian cake, with students from Ueda Nishi High School and their host families. It was such an enjoyable time!
Day 4: Saturday
I went to an “Aqua Park” with Sofia and her friend, Matilda. We tried the inflatable water obstacles and even jumped into the ocean from a high platform. I got very tired, but it was the best fun ever!
In the afternoon, I going to go Umina Beach for Sofia and her friends, Grace. Lots of fun.

1日目（水曜日）
シドニー空港に到着し、CCGSの先生と合流しました。先生と一緒にバスで学校へ向かい、ホストファミリーのソフィアとあいました。学校の案内をしてもらったり、面白いジョークやスラングを教えてもらったりしました。帰宅後はソフィアと一緒に近所のウミナビーチへ散歩に行きました。景色がとても綺麗で感動しました。夕食に食べたフィッシュ＆チップスは、とても美味しかったです。
2日目（木曜日）
学校での授業が始まりました。もちろん全て英語なので理解するのに苦労しましたが、ソフィアがたくさん助けてくれました。放課後は、ソフィアのお兄さんのヒューゴと一緒に海へ泳ぎに行きました。泳ぎながら、好きなゲームや音楽、趣味について話をしました。海はとても気持ちよかったです。
3日目（金曜日）
バレエの授業を受けましたが、私にはとても難しかったです。その後は日本語の授業に参加しました。上田西高校の生徒とそのホストファミリーのみんなと一緒にゲームをしたり、オーストラリアの伝統菓子「ラミントン」を食べたりしました。とても楽しかったです
4日目（土曜日）
ソフィアと友達のマチルダさんと一緒に「アクアパーク」へ行きました。水上アスレチックに挑戦し、高いところから海へ飛び込んだりしました。とても疲れましたが、最高に楽しかったです！
午後はソフィアと友達のグレイスと一緒にウミナビーチに行きました。とっても楽しかったです。
天空の城ラピュタについて話しました。
