I watched the film “Legally Blonde” which has only English subtitles with Julia after dinner on Friday. This film was one of the films Ms. Amy recommended me. I was interested when I watched the recap, so I was looking forward to seeing it.
~Synopsis~
Elle is a college student who is cheerful and ditzy. She expects proposal from boyfriend, who aspires to be a politician, but she broke up with him because he thought she was unsuitable as the wife of a legislator. She studied hard with wholehearted determination and got into a very difficult law school, the same one as him.
I was able to learn many legal terms. While watching, there were comical scene, so I couldn’t help but smile.
In addition, there were many pop and cute productions, and I felt bright and cheerful. I really resonated with Elle’s determination to become a lawyer while staying true to herself and staying positive. This film also became one of my favorite films.

On Saturday, I visited the Christmas Market “Oaklands West Coast Winter Market” with my three VAB friends. I asked my host mother for a recommendation, and she suggested this market. After Halloween is over, Christmas goods lined up quickly at shops, recently the town has been lit up. So I can’t wait for Christmas to come.
Many kinds of goods, such as handmade items and accessories, Christmas ornaments and food were sold at the Christmas market. I especially felt that handmade items were warm and pretty. We were tempted by the delicious-looking churros, we decided to try them. You could choose three toppings, I chose marshmallow, cookie, and chocolate sauce.
The churros and these toppings went really well together so delicious.
I was able to feel Christmas a little earlier so I was happy. I thought that I would like to visit another Christmas market.

金曜日の夕食後にジュリアちゃんと映画『キュ ーティ・ブロンド』を吹き替えなしの英語字幕付き観ました。この映画はエイミー先生がおすすめしてくれた映画の1つであらすじを見て興味を持ったので観るのが楽しみでした。
~あらすじ~
陽気な天然ブロンド美人の女子大生エル。政治家志望の恋人からのプロポーズを期待していたが、議員の妻としてふさわしくないと別れ話を切り出される。彼女は一念発起して猛勉強の末超難関のロースクールに入学する。
法律関係の単語が多くでてきたため、法律関係の単語を覚えることができました。視聴中はコミカルなシーンもあり思わず笑みがこぼれました。他にもポップでキュートな演出が多く、明るく華やかな気持ちになりました。エルの自分らしさを忘れず前向きに弁護士を目指す姿はとても共感できました。この映画もお気に入りのひとつになりました。

土曜日にVABの友人3人とOaklands West Coast Winter Marketというクリスマスマーケットに行きました。ホストマザーにオススメのクリスマスマーケットを尋ねたところこのマーケットを教えてくれました。ハロウィンが終わるとお店にはすぐにクリスマス仕様の商品が並び始め、最近では街中がライトアップされています。そのためクリスマスがとても待ち遠しいです。
クリスマスマーケットにはハンドメイドの置き物やアクセサリー、クリスマスのオーナメント、食べ物など様々な物が売っていました。特にハンドメイドの商品は手作りならではの温かみや可愛らしさを感じました。美味しそうなチュロスに惹かれみんなでチュロスを食べました。チュロスに３つのトッピングができ、私はマシュマロ・クッキー・チョコソースを選びました。チュロスと３つのトッピングは相性がとても良く美味しかったです。
一足早くクリスマス気分を味わうことができとても楽しかったです。他のクリスマスマーケットにも訪れたいと思いました。
