【BDC交換留学ウィークリーレポート⑤】内堀雪花さん

It’s been about a month since I came to Australia. There’s less than a month left, but I’ve finally gotten used to life here.
On Thursday, it was my host mother’s birthday, and we went out to eat Mexican food. The atmosphere at the restaurant was really nice, and the food was tasty .
Then on Saturday, my host family took me to a place called Jetty Beach. The ocean was so beautiful, and many boats were floating on the water. Near the beach, there was some equipment for exercising, which I thought was really great. If possible, I would love to stay at the beach forever.
On Sunday, Nao’s host family, the Lily family, took us to Dolphin Marine Conservation Park. There were various animals such as turtles, penguins, and dolphins that had been rescued due to illness. It felt refreshing to see and touch animals that I don’t usually get to be close to. Her parents were very kind, and I had a great time.
It’s been raining on and off recently, so I was happy that it was sunny for the first time in a while this weekend.
オーストラリアに来て約一ヶ月が経ちました。残り一ヶ月もありませんがやっと生活にも慣れてきました。木曜日にホストマザーの誕生日がありそのお祝いにメキシコ料理を食べに行きました。お店の雰囲気がとてもよく、料理もすごく美味しかったです。そして、土曜日にホストファミリーがjetty beachというところに連れて行ってくれました。海がとても綺麗で沢山の船が浮かんでいました。また、ビーチの近くには体を動かせる道具があってとてもいいなと思いました。可能であればずっとビーチにいたいです。日曜日には、なおのホストファミリーのリリー家がDolphin Marine Conservation Park に連れて行ってくれました。そこには病気のため保護された亀やペンギン、イルカなど様々な動物がいました。普段見て触れる機会はあまりないので少し新鮮な気持ちになりました。彼女の両親はとても親切で楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。そして最近は不定期に雨が降ることが多かったので今週の週末は久々に晴れてよかったです。
