On Friday, I went to Terrigal Beach and Wamberal Beach for a field trip, where we learned about geography. It was fun and a good experience, where I was learning about geography in English instead of Japanese! All of my friends are kind and funny.

On Saturday, we went to Sydney. We went on a boat ride and saw the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, and other historical buildings. There are a lot of historical buildings in Sydney. These buildings are influenced by history and are very fascinating. If you’re curious about Sydney’s history, there is a lot of information online! After that, we had lunch, where I ate lobster pasta and it was very delicious!

We went to Bondi Beach, which I had wanted to visit for a long time because I had watched a TV show called Bondi Rescue before, and it was really interesting. If someone from Bondi Rescue had been there, I would have taken a photo with them. However, they weren’t there, so I couldn’t take a photo. Going to Bondi Beach was a good experience because Australia has people from many different ethnic backgrounds. I was reminded again that Australia is a multicultural society.

今週、ホストファミリーが変わりました。私の新しいホストファミリーはオーストラリア人で、強いオーストラリア訛りがあるので、ときどき聞き間違えてしまいます笑。彼らには子どもが一人しかおらず、そのホストは12年生なので、家の中はとても静かです。でも、夕食のときや他の時間にはたくさん話します。

金曜日には、校外学習でテリガル・ビーチとワンバラル・ビーチに行き、地理について学びました。とても楽しく、良い経験でした。日本語ではなく英語で地理を学べたのも良かったです！友達はみんな優しくて面白いです。

土曜日にはシドニーに行きました。ボートに乗って、オペラハウスやハーバーブリッジ、その他の歴史的な建物を見ました。シドニーにはたくさんの歴史的な建物があります。これらの建物は歴史の影響を受けており、とても興味深いです。シドニーの歴史について気になったら、インターネットで調べてみてね！！

その後、昼食を食べました。ロブスターのパスタを食べたのですが、とても美味しかったです！

それから、ずっと行きたかったボンダイビーチに行きました。以前、「ボンダイ・レスキュー」というテレビ番組を見て、とても面白かったので、ぜひ行ってみたかったのです。もしボンダイ・レスキューに出ている人がいたら、一緒に写真を撮りたかったのですが、残念ながらいなかったので撮れませんでした。

ボンダイビーチに行けたのはとても良い経験でした。オーストラリアにはさまざまな民族の人々が暮らしていて、改めて多文化社会であることを実感しました。
