This week was the end of my winter vacation.
Since it was the last week of the break, I spent a lot of time with my family. We went to restaurants, climbed a mountain, and went shopping, so I had a very good week.
I also gave them some souvenirs that were sent from Japan. They were very happy to receive them, and that made me happy too. Even though my visit was decided at the last minute, they welcomed me very warmly, and I was really grateful.
I would also like to thank Ms Karina for keeping in touch with my guardian and supporting me in many ways.
On Friday, I took the train back to Coffs Harbour. My host family picked me up at the station, so I was able to get back home easily.
Thanks to so many people, I was able to spend a very meaningful time here. I am grateful to everyone who has helped me.
Next week will be my last week at school, so I will do my best to learn as much as I can and make the most of my remaining time.
今週で冬休みが終了しました。
最後の週だったので、家族と一緒にレストランに行ったり、山登りをしたり、ショッピングに行ったりして、とても充実した1週間を過ごすことができました。
日本から郵送で送ってもらったお土産をプレゼントとして渡したところ、とても喜んでもらえて嬉しかったです。急遽決まった訪問だったにもかかわらずとても温かく迎え入れてくださり本当にありがたかったです。
また、現地の保護者と連絡を取り合い、さまざまな面でサポートしてくださったカリナ先生にも本当に感謝しています。
金曜日には電車でコフスハーバーへ戻りました。駅までホストファミリーが迎えに来てくれたので、安心して帰ることができました。
多くの方々のおかげで、とても有意義な時間を過ごすことができました。関わってくださったすべての方に感謝しています。
学校へ通うのも来週で最後になるので最後まで少しでも多くのことを学び充実した時間にできるように頑張りたいです。
