【オーストラリアBDC留学ウィークリーレポート⑦】藤武昌馬さん

This week, our term ended and we started our three-week winter holiday. On the last Friday, we had a special event instead of classes, like a school festival. First, we watched the Japan vs Sweden World Cup match together and had a great time. The game ended in a draw, and Japan finished second in the group, so they reached the knockout stage. I was really happy about that.
After that, we watched the Australia vs Paraguay match together on a big screen. Then we ate hamburgers, played Mario Kart, played soccer games, and played basketball. We all had a lot of fun.
I also became friends with a exchange student from France. We exchanged souvenirs and talked together.
At the weekend, I used the Japanese curry roux I had brought from Japan. I bought the ingredients at the supermarket and cooked Japanese curry for my host family. It was easier than I expected, and it turned out really delicious, so I was happy.
今週でタームが終わり3週間の冬休みに入りました。最終日の金曜日には文化祭のような授業がない一日中イベントをやっていました。最初はみんなで日本代表対スウェーデン代表の試合を見て盛り上がっていました。
引き分けに終わり2位で決勝トーナメントに出場することができたので良かったです。
そのあともみんなでオーストラリア代表対パラグアイ代表の試合をパブリックビューイングで見て楽しんでいました。
そのあとはハンバーガーを食べたりマリオカートをしたりサッカーのゲームをしたりバスケットボールをしたりなどみんなでとても楽しむことができました。
また、フランスから留学に来ている生徒と友達になることができたのでお土産を交換したりして会話をしました。
週末は日本からカレーのルーを持ってきていたのでスーパーで具材を買ってホストファミリーにカレーライスを作りました。思ったよりも簡単で美味しくできたのでよかったです。
