My classmates from language school and I did some activities in a nearby park.
First, we tried a sport called “boccia,” which originated in Italy. Our teacher, who is from Italy, explained the rules to us. Each player throws a red or blue ball called a “bocce,” aiming at a white ball called the “pallino.” The team with the ball closest to the pallino scores points. This time, we played in four teams of two people each. It was difficult to control the throw and get the bocce close to the pallino. However, I was happy when I managed to throw my ball near the pallino and when our team scored points. I really enjoyed celebrating with my teammates.
There was also a wild rabbit in the park. In Japan, I had only seen rabbits in zoos, so I was surprised to see one in the wild.
Next, we played frisbee. Since it had been a while, my friend showed me some tips on how to throw it. I had more fun when I was able to throw and catch it well.
It felt great to be active in the nice weather.

語学学校のクラスメイトと近くの公園でアクティビティをしました。
まずは、イタリア発祥のスポーツ「ボッチャ」を体験しました。イタリア出身の先生がルールを説明してくれました。「パッリーノ」と呼ばれる白いボールを目掛けて「ボッチェ」と呼ばれる赤や青のボールを各プレイヤーが投げます。パッリーノに最も近い色のボールが得点を得られます。今回は2人1組の4チームでゲームを行いました。パッリーノに近づけるように調節してボッチェを投げるのが難しかったです。その中でもパッリーノの近くに投げられたときや私たちのチームが得点を得られたときは嬉しく、チームメイトと一緒に喜びました。
公園には野生のうさぎがいました。日本では動物園でしかうさぎを見たことがなかったので、野生にいる姿を見て驚きました。
次はフリスビーをして遊びました。久しぶりだったので友達にコツを教えてもらい遊びました。上手に投げられたり、キャッチ出来たときはより楽しかったです。
良い天気の中気持ち良く身体を動かすことが出来ました。
