Today, I went to a market at a park near my house by. This market is held on the third Saturday of every month. Many people sell clothes, accessories, and handmade items. There are also sell plants and jerky.
I stayed here for three months, so I could go to this market three times. This was the last time, so I felt a little sad.
There are many shops in the large park, and I can talk with people who is Australian. Everyone always smiles and says “Hi!”, so I really enjoy it.
There are also many food trucks, so we can enjoy food too. There are many kinds of food, coffee, ice cream, donuts, Italian food, and Mexican food and so on. My favorite is arancini from an Italian food truck. It is fried rice with cheese and meat sauce inside. I ate it again, and it was very delicious.
When I was sitting, a woman next to me talked to me. I said, “I am studying English and I am here for studying abroad.” Then she told me that her daughter is studying in Tokyo for six months. We had a nice chat. She spoke slowly and clearly, so I could understand her. We talked about life here, her daughter, and cherry blossoms.
I really enjoyed that time and will never forget it. At the end, we took a picture and said goodbye. People here are very kind, and I love this place. It was a short time, but it was a great time. I told her, “Please come to Nagano someday,” so I hope she will visit.

今日は家から近くの公園でやっているマーケットへ一人で行きました。毎月第3土曜日に行われます。このマーケットはたくさんの人が服やアクセサリー、ハンドメイドのものなどが売られています。植物やジャーキーなどもあります。
私は3ヶ月間の留学だったため、毎回行って、合計3回もこのマーケットに行くことができました。今回が最後のマーケットだったため、すこし寂しかったです。
広い公園にお店がたくさん出されていて、オーストラリアの方との交流もたくさんできるところです。いつもみんな笑顔でHi!と言ってあいさつしてくれるのでたのしいです。
ものだけではなく、フードトラックもたくさんあって、食べ物も楽しむことができます。コーヒーや、アイス、ドーナツ、イタリア料理、メキシコ料理など本当にいろんな種類の食べ物が売られています。私はその中でもイタリア料理屋さんのアランチーニという、中にお米とチーズとミートソースが入って揚げられてあるものがだいすきです。今回もそれを食べました。とてもおいしいです。
座っていたら隣にいた女性の方に話しかけてもらえました。私は「今留学に来てて、英語を勉強しているところです。」と話しました。そしたらその女性の娘さんは今東京の大学に留学に6ヶ月間行っているそうです。なので話が弾みました。その女性は私が分かりやすい英語でゆっくり話してくれて、私も会話を楽しくすることができました。こっちでの生活のことや、娘さんの話、桜の話などたくさん話しました。
私は本当にその時間が楽しくて忘れられません。最後には写真を撮って、感謝を伝えてお別れをしました。このようにあたたかい方ばかりで私はここがだいすきです。短い間だったけど最高な時間でした。「長野県にも来てください」と言ったので、いつか来てくれるとうれしいです。
