【オーストラリアCCGS留学ウィークリーレポート⑥】長須結湖さん

I went to a reptile park with everyone on the short-term study abroad program. The zookeepers gave us a detailed tour of the park, explaining everything as they went. We were able to feed caterpillars to the birds and kangaroos. I was also happy to be able to wrap a snake around my neck. It was a great experience, as we did so many things that we can’t do in Japan. On Friday, since it was the last day for the short-term study abroad students, we had a farewell party in the Japanese class. The CCGS teachers prepared lots of traditional Australian sweets and Vegemite toast.
短期留学のみなさんと爬虫類園に行きました。飼育員さんが丁寧に説明しながら園の中を案内してくれました。鳥に芋虫をあげたり、カンガルーに餌やりもできました。蛇も首に巻けて嬉しかったです。日本ではできないようなことばかりで、とてもいい経験になりました。金曜日、短期留学の人たちが最後だったので日本語クラスでお別れパーティーがありました。CCGSの先生方がオーストラリアの伝統的なお菓子や、ベジマイトトーストなどをたくさん用意してくれました。
