It has been nine weeks since I came to Australia.
This week, I’m in a class with junior high school students. I’m taking classes with Lani. Also, I joined elementary school Japanese classes because I taught Japanese to elementary school students. Elementary school students asked me questions about Japan and I was happy to have more conversations. They are so cute because they wave their hands and talked to me when I saw them outside.
After school, I went to KFC with friends. There is KFC near school. We walked there and we ate chicken and chips. I ate popcorn chicken there, which isn’t in Japan. It was delicious and it was crispy.
On another day, after school, I went to a festival with friends. There are many market stalls. I ate dinner there. I ate gnocchi and ice cream. I ate gnocchi for the first time. It was delicious.
On Friday, there was a day called Harmony day. It is to cherish the culture of each country. I went to school in civilian clothes this day.
Also, various sweets such as cookies and cupcakes were sold in the courtyard at lunchtime. The things they were selling were cute.
Also, I ate kangaroo jerky. It looks like beef jerky. It tasted a little quirky, but it was delicious, when I tried it.
On the weekend, I went to the Big Banana with friends.
We played 4D ride simulator and toboggan and ice skating there. Everything was very fun. There were many other activities.
The next day, I went to watch a movie. I watched Project Hail Mary. It was a SF movie. I don’t know if it’s right, but I somehow understood the flow of the story. It was interesting.
Next week is the last. For the remaining week, I want to cherish the relationship with my friends and host families.

オーストラリアに来てから9週間が経ちました。
今週から中学生と授業です。私はラニとペアで一緒に授業を受けています。また、今週から小学生の日本語の授業にも日本語を教えに行っています。小学生は日本についての質問を沢山してくれたり、会話が増えて嬉しいです。外で会ったら手を振ってくれたり話しかけてくれたりしてとても可愛いです。
放課後、友達とケンタッキーに行きました。学校から少し歩いたところにあります。そこまで歩いて行き、チキンやポテトを食べました。私はそこでポップコーンチキンを食べました。ポップコーンチキンは日本にはありません。カリカリしていておいしかったです。
また別の日に学校から帰った後、友達とお祭りに行きました。屋台が沢山あり、そこで夕飯を食べました。私はニョッキとアイスを食べました。私はニョッキを初めて食べましたが美味しかったです。
金曜日にはハーモニーデーというものがありました。それぞれの国の文化を大切にしようというものです。その日は私服で登校しました。また、お昼の時に中庭でクッキーやカップケーキなど様々なお菓子が売られていました。とても賑やかで売っているお菓子も可愛いかったです。
また、カンガルージャーキーを食べました。ビーフジャーキーみたいな見た目をしています。食べてみたら少し癖のある味がしましたが美味しかったです。
週末には友達とビッグバナナに行きました。ビッグバナナでは4Dライドシミュレーターとトボガンとアイススケートをやりました。どれもとても楽しかったです。他にも沢山のアクティビティがありました。
次の日に映画を見に行きました。プロジェクト・ヘイル・メアリーという映画を見ました。SF映画でした。合っているかは分からないけれど、話の流れはなんとなく分かりました。おもしろかったです。
来週が最後の週になります。残り1週間仲良くなった友達やホストファミリーとの関わりを大切に生活したいです。
