It has been seven weeks since I came to Australia.

This week, Uedanishi high school students came to BDC on a short-term study abroad.I played badminton with junior high school students in P.E.class.I paired with a junior high school student named Indy. It was fun, I can talk a lot and I’m happy to be together when the badminton rally continues.Indy thanked me for playing together, and I thought it was very cute. I was happy and enjoyed that I played badminton with Indy.

Also, I did cooking in Hospitality class. I made chocolate mousse and rusk. I received a recipe and proceeded according to the recipe. I made mousse and rasks first time.While making it, it was written in English, so mistook the fresh cream for milk, and I over whipped the cream I sometimes confused heavy cream with milk and whipped the cream.I was able to complete it while asking the teacher and students about things I didn’t understand and any mistakes.There were many small problems, but I enjoyed making it until end. The rusks were very crispy. The chocolate mousse set well and was sweet and very delicious. I want to try making chocolate mousse and rusks again.

I was able to communicate more deeply than before this week.I talked with Sunny an exchange student from Taiwan, about Taiwan’s school sports festival and about my school trip to Taiwan. I talked with many friends about preparation and state of the camp next week, and they told me many things. I’m happy that I was able to talk more than before. Also,I had many interactions with junior high school students and was able to communicate with many friends. I’m happy friends wave to me when I pass them outside and to talk. More people I have more friends and have become friends with.

オーストラリアに来てから7週間が経ちました。

今週は西高生が短期でBDCに留学に来ました。体育の授業でバドミントンを中学生とやりました。インディーという中学生の子とペアでやりました。バドミントンのラリーが続いたら一緒に喜んだり沢山話すことができてとても楽しかったです。授業が終わったあと一緒にペアでやってくれてありがとうと言ってくれてとても可愛いなと思いました。一緒にバドミントンができて楽しかったし嬉しかったです。

また家庭科の授業では調理実習をやりました。調理実習ではチョコレートムースとラスクを作りました。レシピをもらいレシピ通り進めていきました。ムースもラスクも初めて作りました。作っていく中で英語で書かれているため生クリームと牛乳をまちがえたり、生クリームを泡立たせすぎてしまったりしました。先生や生徒に間違えたところやわからないことを聞きながら進めていき、なんとか完成することができました。さまざまなハプニングがありましたが最後まで楽しく作ることが出来ました。ラスクはサクサクしました。チョコレートムースもしっかり固まって甘くてとても美味しかったです。またチョコレートムースとラスクを作ってみようと思いました。

今週は前より深いコミュニケーションをとることができました。台湾からの留学生のサニーと台湾の体育祭についてや私が台湾の修学旅行に行った時の話をしたり、沢山の友達と来週あるキャンプの準備や様子について沢山話したり教えてもらったりしました。前より沢山話すことができて嬉しいです。また、中学生との関わりも多く沢山の人と沢山コミュニケーションをとることができました。外ですれ違う時に手を振ってくれたり話したり友達が増えて仲良くなれてとても嬉しいです。
