Day 12 (Sunday) Today, I went to Sydney with my friends. Finally got to see the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, which I’ve wanted to see for a long time. They looked so cool! After that, we went sightseeing around the city. We did some shopping and had a meal at the Queen Victoria Building. The interior was so pretty. I had a great time in Sydney and really want to go back again.

Day 13 (Monday) We had PE class today and played volleyball. I was so happy because my teammates cheered for me and gave me lots of compliments every time I scored a point.

Day 14 (Tuesday) I took a Physics class in Science today. Since I haven’t studied Physics in Japan, it was even more difficult than usual. However, Sofia’s friends, Kristina and Juliet, helped me a lot.

Day 15 (Wednesday) Host families had tests today, so I attended different classes than usual. I joined Japanese language classes for primary and middle. I was impressed by how well everyone spoke Japanese!

Day 16 (Thursday) After school, I played basketball. Since I’m a beginner, it was hard to keep up with the practice, and following instructions in English was also a challenge. But everyone on the team was so kind and gave me a lot of support. After basketball, I had a dance class with Sofia and Kristina. We did lot of push ups. It was so hard but it was so exciting.

Day 17 (Friday) After school, I went bowling with Sofia, Hugo, Kaede, Sofia sensei, and her brother Harry. I was so happy to see Sofia sensei again! I used to struggle to speak English at school, but today I realized I could communicate with her using simple English. I felt so proud of my progress. Harry was really funny and a great person. I’d love to hang out with them again.

Day 18 (Saturday) I went to the beach with Grace, Iseult, Sofia, and Kaede. The weather was perfect for the beach! But the sand was very hot. The waves were a bit higher than usual, which was so much fun. We all had chips for lunch, and they were delicious.

12日目(日曜日) 今日はみんなでシドニーに行きました。 ずっと見たかったハーバーブリッジとオペラハウスを見ました。とってもかっこよかったです。 その後はシドニーの色々なところを観光しました。 クイーン・ビクトリア・ビルディングというところで買い物をしたりご飯を食べたりしました。建物の中はとってもオシャレでした。シドニーはとっても楽しかったです。また行きたいです。

13日目(月曜日) 今日は授業で体育がありバレーボールをしました。点を決めるごとにチームメイトがたくさん褒めてくれて嬉しかったです。

14日目(火曜日) 今日は理科で物理の授業を受けました。日本で物理は習っていないのでいつもよりもより難しかったです。でもソフィアの友達のクリスティーナやジュリエットがたくさん助けてくれました。

15日目(水曜日) 今日はホストファミリーたちがテストだったのでいつもとは違う授業を受けました。小学生と中学生の日本語の授業を受けました。みんな日本語が上手ですごいなと思いました。

16日目(木曜日) 今日は学校が終わったあと、バスケットボールをしました。自分はバスケットボールが初心者なので練習についていくのも大変だし、もちろん英語で指示が出るのでそれも大変でした。でもバスケットボールの人たちはみんな優しくてたくさんサポートをしてくれました。バスケのあとはダンスレッスンにソフィアとクリスティーナと行きました。腕立て伏せをたくさんしました。きつかったけど楽しかったです。

17日目(金曜日) 今日は学校が終わったあとソフィアとヒューゴとかえでとソフィア先生とその弟のハリーと一緒にボウリングをしに行きました。久しぶりにソフィア先生と会えて嬉しかったです。学校の時はなかなか英語で話せていなかってけど、簡単な英語でソフィア先生と話せるようになっていて、成長を感じられて嬉しかったです。ハリーはとっても面白くていい人でした。また遊びたいです。

18日目(土曜日) 今日はグレースとイゾルトとソフィアとかえでと一緒にビーチに行きました。 とても天気がよく、海日和でした。けど砂浜がとっても熱かったです。波がいつもより高めでとっても楽しかったです。 お昼はみんなでチップスを食べました。美味しかったです。
