【オーストラリアCCGS留学ウィークリーレポート②】平野楓さん

Day 8 I went to a religion class. It was very deep and different from BDC class. After that, I went to history class. We learned about Australia during World War II and also about Japan. I learned things about Japan that we don‘t study in Japan, so it was very interesting.
Day 9 I went to basketball practice for the first time. There were more people than I expected, so I was surprised. We did running at the beginning and it was very hard. After that, we practiced passing and shooting, so it was not too hard. I couldn’t understand the coach’s instructions in English, but there was a person who could speak Japanese, so he helped me.
Day 10 I went to basketball practice again. There were fewer people than yesterday. We did many game-style practices. The person who could speak Japanese was not there, so it was a little difficult, but it was fun. After I went home, I ate pizza. It was very delicious.
Day 11 I played soccer with Izzy‘s younger brother, Ultan, and his friends. Everyone was very good at soccer, so it was really fun. They said they broke the windows of a nearby building four times before. Haha.
Day 12 We all went to Sydney. It is about one hour by train. From the station, we could see the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. When we walked a little, we saw Luna Park. Izzy‘s mother said Japanese amusement parks are more fun. Haha. After that, we ate ramen for lunch and went shopping. I bought a jersey of my favorite soccer team, Arsenal. It was expensive, but I‘m happy I bought it.
Day 13 I went to PE class and played volleyball. The teams change every time, so I can play with many different people. It was very fun. I also heard that there will be a basketball game this weekend. I will do my best to play in the game.
Day 14 It has been about two weeks since I came to Australia. I am getting used to life in Australia. At school, I talked with many people. But I think I need to talk with more people. I want to talk with new people and speak more English. Today was Pancake Tuesday. I ate a lot of pancakes.
Day8 宗教の授業に行きました。BDCの授業とは違ってとても奥深いところまで授業で学んでいました。その後は歴史の授業に行きました。第二次世界大戦の時のオーストラリアの動きや日本では習っていない日本の動きなどを学べて良かったです。
Day9 初めてバスケの練習に行きました。思っていたより人数が多くてびっくりしました。練習の最初から走りの練習できつかったです。その後はパスやシュートの練習でそれほどきつくはなかったです。コーチの指示が英語でぜんぜん分からなかったけれど日本語を話せる人がいたので助かりました。
Day10 昨日に引き続きバスケの練習に行きました。昨日に比べて練習の人数が少なかったです。練習の内容は試合形式の練習が多かったです。昨日いた日本語を話せる人がいなかったので少し大変でしたが楽しかったです。家に帰ったあとはピザを食べました。とても美味しかったです。
Day11 イゾルトの弟ウルタンとその友達とサッカーをして遊びました。みんなサッカーが上手くてとても楽しかったです。ウルタンたちは近くにある建物の窓を4回割ってしまったことがあるそうです。笑
Day12 みんなでシドニーに行きました。電車で1時間くらいのところにあり、駅からはオペラハウスもハーバーブリッジが見えました。駅から離れて少し歩いているとルナパークが見えました。イゾルトのお母さんは日本の遊園地の方が楽しいと言っていました。笑
その後はお昼ご飯にラーメンを食べて買い物に行きました。僕は好きなサッカーチームのアーセナルのジャージを買いました。高かったけれど買えてよかったです。
Day13 体育の授業に行って、バレーボールをやりました。毎回チームが変わるのでいろんな人とプレーできるのがとても楽しかったです。それと今週末にバスケの試合があることを聞きました。試合に出られるように頑張りたいです。
Day14 オーストラリアに来て2週間くらいが経ちました。自分はオーストラリアの生活に慣れてきました。学校ではいろいろな人と話すことができました。でも、もっといろんな人と話す必要があると思いました。知らない人とももっと話して英語をもっとたくさん話せるように頑張りたいです。今日はパンケーキチューズデーでした。たくさんのパンケーキを食べました。
