【オーストラリアBDC留学ウィークリーレポート②】髙野咲桜さん

Today, we had a swimming competition . We went from school to a local pool by bus. It was already very hot then.
At BDC, there are six house teams. I was in the red team, Hollows. Everyone wore their team colors and cheered hard for the swimmers. I also wore a red hat.
Each team has students from Year 7 to Year 12. I was impressed to see everyone cheering for their teammates as one team.
For a snack, I ate a sausage in soft white bread.
I put BBQ sauce on it, and it was very delicious. I really liked it.
I heard this food is popular in Australia.
I talked a lot with Sunny, an exchange student from Taiwan. She will stay in Australia until June. She has visited Japan before, so we enjoyed talking.
I want to be better friends with her.
There are many events like this in Australia, and they make me excited.
今日は水泳大会がありました。学校からみんなでバスで地域のプールに移動しました。もうその時すでにとても暑かったです。
BDCには6つのハウスチームというものがあります。私は赤色のHollowsでした。みんな自分のチームカラーで全身を色どり、代表者が競うのを全力で応援しました。私も赤色の帽子を身に着けてみました。
それぞれのチームには中学一年生から高校3年生までがいます。チーム一丸となって仲間を応援する姿がとても印象に残っています。
おやつには柔らかい食パンにソーセージが挟まれているもの食べました。BBQソースをその上にかけて、すごくおいしかったです。私はとても気に入りました。
オーストラリアではみんなに人気な食べ物だと聞きました。
そこで台湾から来た留学生のサニーとたくさん話しました。彼女は6月までオーストラリアにいるそうです。日本にも旅行で来たことがあるらしく話が盛り上がりました。もっと仲良くなりたいと思いました。
オーストラリアにもこのように色々な種類のイベントがあり、とてもわくわくします。
