【オーストラリアBDC留学ウィークリーレポート②】中山心結さん

It has been two weeks since I came to Australia. I’m more used to listening to English than when I first came here.
This weekend, I went to the beach near Penny’s house. On the way to the beach, hibiscus flowers were blooming. There were red, yellow, and pink hibiscus. It was so beautiful. I ate a hamburger for dinner. I made it myself. It was delicious.
Next day, after eating dinner, I went to the sea at Coffs Harbour. I saw the sunset because I went in the evening. It was so beautiful.
The next day, I ate dinner with Sam’s students. We went to a restaurant. The restaurant was near the sea. I went to the sea with Penny until the meal came. I went into the sea for the first time since I came to Australia. The sea was very beautiful, and the water was clear. After that, we talked while eating. We talked about recommended places in Japan and my favorite actors in Japan. I was happy to talk a lot. Also, we got along with each other by exchanging Instagram.
The next day, I went kayaking with Penny and Penny’s friend Joey. I did it for the first time. It was hard to keep my balance until the kayak boat was shaking a lot. Also, rowing required strength and was difficult. After that, I watched a movie while eating pizza. It was fun. After that, I went to the beach near Penny’s house at night. The sea at night had a mysterious atmosphere with slightly stronger waves than during the day.
School starts on Tuesday. I want to talk to people by myself and get along with them. Also, I want to increase the number of times I have conversations on my own.
オーストラリアに来てから二週間が経ちました。来た頃よりも英語の聞き取りに慣れてきました。
今週はペニーの家の近くのビーチに行きました。ビーチにまで行く途中、ハイビスカスを見ました。赤や黄色、ピンクのハイビスカスが咲いていました。夕食にはセルフで作り、ハンバーガーを食べてとても美味しかったです。その後、コフスハーバーの海に行き、とても綺麗な夕陽が見れました。
次の日、ホストマザーセームの教え子と海の近くのレストランで夕食を食べました。ご飯が来るまでの間、海に行きました。私はオーストラリアに来て初めて海に入りました。オーストラリアの海は透き通っていてとても綺麗です。その後、ご飯を食べながら日本のお勧めの場所や日本の好きな俳優の話をしました。たくさん話してくれて、インスタも交換してもらい仲良くなることができてとても嬉しかったです。
次の日、ペニーの友達とカヤックをやりました。私は初めての体験です。ボートがとても揺れ、なれるまでバランスを取るのが大変でした。漕ぐ力も必要で難しかったです。その後、家でピザを食べながら映画を観て楽しかったです。夜、近くのビーチに行きました。夜の海は昼間よりも波が強く神秘的でした。
火曜日から学校が始まります。自分から話しかけてたくさんの人と仲良くなりたいです。自分から会話する回数を増やしていきたいです。
