I had my birthday this week. When I woke up, there was a balloon in the living room. I turned 17 years old. Thank you mom!! I received a lot of presents from my host family. I have soccer training every week, so I got a sports uniform. I love it. ( I wore it that night.) Other than that, I got what I liked from them. I’m grateful for my host family.
When I went to school, everyone said to me “happy birthday.” They seem to have been talking about it. (lol) I also received congratulations from my teachers and my soccer friends. This is the first time that so many people have congratulated me. It was a really wonderful.
Martha, the previous host student, congratulated me. I got a birthday present from her. That was… “ sandwich.“ I loved the sandwiches her father made, so I laughed a lot. Thank you to all the host families.
I had a wonderful experience and a wonderful time in Australia. Actually, my host mother’s birthday is April 12th. Of course, I prepared a birthday present for her. (It’s a secret.) I will tell you about that next week.
Birthday is an important day. I’m glad that I was able to meet them.

今週は、私の誕生日がありました。朝、起きると風船が用意してありました。17歳になりました。母さんありがとーー！ホストファミリーの方からたくさんのプレゼントをもらいました。私たちは、毎週水曜日にサッカーの練習があるので、そのための練習着を買ってもらいました。私はそれが大好きです！（その日の夜に着ました。）その他にも私が好きな物をたくさんもらいました。彼らには本当に感謝しています。
また学校に行くと、たくさんの人から『お誕生日おめでとう』と言われました。どうやら噂になっていたようです（笑）先生方やサッカーの仲間にもお祝いしてもらいました。こんなにたくさんの方からお祝いしていただくのは初めてです。本当にサイコーの1日でした。
１つ前のホストスチューデントのマーサにもお祝いしてもらいました。私は彼女から誕生日プレゼントをもらいました。それは… 『サンドイッチでした。』（笑）私は彼女のお父さんが作るサンドイッチが大好きでした。プレゼントが意外すぎて、笑ってしまいました。全てのホストファミリーには感謝しかありません。
私は留学先で誕生日を迎え、とても素敵な経験をさせてもらいました。実は4月12日は、今のホストマザーの誕生日です。もちろん、プレゼントは用意してあります！（秘密ですよ）その事については、また報告します（笑）
誕生日はとっても大切な日です！私は彼らに出会うことができて、よかったと思っています。
