学校：Central Coast Grammar School（オーストラリア）

またホストファミリーが変わりました。
新しいホストファミリーもとても良いです。彼らはとても親切で面白いので、毎日楽しく過ごせています。
この家族には三人兄弟がいて、みんなバスケットボールをしているので、毎日一緒にバスケをしています。
土曜日にバスケットボールの試合をしにシドニーに行きました。
僕のバスケットボールのコーチはアメリカ人です。彼はアメリカンアクセントでとても早く話し、バスケットボールの用語もすべて英語だったので、理解するのが難しかったです。
対戦相手のチームはとても強かったです。背が高くてスキルのある選手がたくさんいて、チームワークも素晴らしかったです。
僕たちは負けてしまいましたが、とても良い経験になりました。

日曜日にはホストファミリーとテリガルビーチに行きました。
とても楽しかったです。海で泳いだり、ハンバーガーやパンケーキを食べたりしました。それは日本にはない、とても美味しい食べ物でした。

とても面白い事に気づきました。
それは、オーストラリアでは裸足で外を歩く人が多いということです。テリガルビーチでも裸足の人をたくさん見かけました。日本では普通こんな光景は見られません。

My new host family is really good. They are really kind and funny so they make me happy every day. This family has three siblings and they all play basketball so we play basketball every day.
I went to Sydney on Saturday because I had a basketball game. My basketball coach is American. He spoke really fast with an American accent. Because all the basketball terms were in English, it was difficult to understand.

Our opponent was very strong. There were a lot of tall and skilled players and they had great teamwork. We lost, but it was good experience.
I went to Terrigal Beach with my host family on Sunday. It was fun. We swam in the sea and ate hamburgers and pancakes. It was a really tasty dish which isn’t available in Japan.
I noticed something really interesting. That is there are many people in Australia who walk barefoot outdoors. I saw a lot of barefoot people at Terrigal Beach. We normally can’t see this in Japan.
